Who Are We?

Our story began at the end of February 2020, in a small workshop located in the historic French Passage of Karaköy İstanbul.
Three friends – Vaghef, Hafez, and Mahyar – combined our years-long friendship with our passion for diamonds to embark on this journey.
We each had different tastes and perspectives, but it was precisely this diversity that gave a unique soul to our designs.
Today, we continue our diamond craft with the same excitement, creating each piece with the meticulousness of a work of art.
With the distinctive signature born from our differences, we design not just jewelry, but a story.
And we know that this journey is only just beginning…

Some journeys begin like a fairy tale. They belong neither to a specific time nor to a particular place… Their origin is a light that touches the heart at first glance, a meaning that echoes in a moment of silence. The story of Shusha Diamond begins just like this—not solely with a flower, nor solely with a city—but with an elegance etched into memory, a sentiment engraved from the heart into stone.
Far away, on the slope of a mountain shaded by clouds, a delicate and miraculous flower blooms only a few times a year: the Xarı Bülbül. Its name comes from its resemblance to a bird—perhaps a nightingale. Yet, its beauty lies not only in its form. This flower is a symbol of war, longing, and lost homelands. It is a miracle that does not yield even in the harshest soil, that resists the cold, and that whispers the past into the present with every bloom.
And one day… the meaning of this flower shone in the eyes of someone whose heart carried the love of ancient lands. Those eyes now wandered through the bustling streets of Istanbul, over the stone pavements of the Grand Bazaar, into the old inns where history echoes with every step. And in that mind was a single thought: to speak without words, like this flower… to create a jewel that tells a story without uttering a sound.
Thus, Shusha Diamond was born.
For us, a jewel is not merely the light reflected by a diamond. It is the embodiment of a feeling hidden within the stone—a farewell, a reunion, a quiet “I am here for you.” Our workshop, where we craft each collection, rests in a hidden corner of the Grand Bazaar, surrounded by ancient stones that breathe both history and the present. With every strike of the hammer, we do not only shape gold; we revive a memory, we weave a story.
Because at Shusha Diamond, we believe that light is not only a physical concept but also a spiritual one. We know how the fire burning in a woman’s heart can slip into a chain around her neck, and how a mother’s smile can be captured in the curve of an earring. Our craft is not just to create beauty, but to give that beauty meaning, a voice, and a memory.

Sometimes, a jewel is not just made of precious stones. Sometimes, it becomes the sparkle of a dream, of dedication, and of a journey.
At Shusha Diamond, we believe that light doesn’t only shine through a diamond—it shines through determination, hard work, and passion. That is why we are proud to be part of the journey of young tennis player Özüm Özgenler.
Stepping onto the court at the age of just 5, Özüm has already achieved numerous national and international successes. At 12 years old, competing in the U14 category, she has now earned the title of Summer Cup U16 Champion, inspiring us all. 🏆
With her dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship, Özüm has managed to win not only matches but also hearts. She is moving forward with confidence toward becoming one of the future national athletes. Her story is written not only with trophies but also with the sweat she sheds on the court, the responsibilities she takes on, and the passion she carries.
